    Have you ever witnessed the amazing view of a Bald Eagle soaring through the sky? Such sightings occur regularly in the Abbott Marshlands, thanks to a pair of Bald Eagles that have nested near the tow-path trail for the last 6 years. Join us to celebrate these eagles with hands-on artifacts, stories from the researchers who study them, and even a chance to see a live Bald Eagle up close.

     

    Proceeds benefit the Wildlife Center Friends and Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.

In this workshop, botanist Alyce Hreha will teach you to identify trees and shrubs without their leaves, giving you the tools to enjoy the wonderful diversity of the Abbott Marshlands.

            With a live performance by the Barncats!!

             

            For this special event, the nature enter will boast a small café ambiance and host the Barncats, a local acoustic band. Enjoy an evening of folk and bluegrass music while sipping coffee or tea, and snacking on homemade sweet treats. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner to eat before or during the concert. Dessert and hot drinks are complimentary.

             

            Music starts at 7pm. $10/person, Kids 12 & under free
